After the 2nd World War many wandered alone and aimlessly without home or family through the destroyed cities of Europe...
When they met, without hope, searching for relatives the said "amcha" as a greeting. In hebrew that means "Your people". When they got "Amcha" as an answer, they both knew that they were part of the few survivors ot the jewish people.
